RIFLE TEAM is a marksmanship team which shoots three position "sporter" air rifle. A three position air rifle (3PAR) match shoots in Prone (lying down), Offhand (or standing), and Kneeling positions. Sporter is a category of air rifle in which the rules limit the complexity of the equipment and rifles, and thus remains affordable to more junior marksmen. Precision air rifle is much higher quality, has more adjustments, and includes more equipment to help the shooter be still. Junior Air Rifle includes anyone high school age and younger.
